Music and visuals
The sound of the song and the effect is has on the listener should definitely be reflected in music videos. In most cases of storyline visuals and song lyrics match however together with out thoughts and ideas we have decided to make the song lyrics a bit different by not having the story go accordingly to the lyrics. As some buts of the song “start again” is quite fast pace we should have a fast cutting rate. A good example of the use of past pace is “ignorance” by Paramore. In this song it is mostly fast pace however there is a slow cutting rate used during the verses of the song, but when the song reaches the chorus, the frequency of cuts increases greatly to reflect the speed of that section of the song. As well as this, an unstable effect is used on the camera in certain places and flashes of white light are also used. We liked the idea of this and may consider using something similar for our own music video.
